Island 432 - Eilean nan Caorach 3, Lewis

Eilean nan Caorach 3 is another small uninhabited tidal island located to the north of Eilean nan Caorach 2.  It is also linked to the headland of Gob Shildinis at low tide by about 100 metres of a rocky beach, 50 metres of which is covered in slippery seaweed.  Eilean nan Caorach 3 is in two pieces, the most easterly of which rises to a height of 9 metres above sea level.
