Bowen Craigs is a very small tidal island located 50 metres off the North Ayshire coast at the south end of Largs. It is very flat and no more than about 50 metres in diameter. It is covered in grass, with a few wildflowers like bird's-foot trefoil. The island is only cut off from the mainland for a short time at high tide.
