Island 431 - Eilean nan Caorach 2, Lewis

I think this is the official Eilean nan Caorach from the positioning of the name on an Ordnance Survey map of 1897.  The island is located between the headland of Gob Shildinis and the non-tidal island of Eilean nan Uan and is about three miles south east of the town of Stornoway on the Isle of Lewis.  It is separated from the headland of Gob Shildinis by about 150 metres of a rocky and seaweed covered beach at low tide. It is composed of conglomerate and is about 50 metres long.  Sea mayweed and thrift were both in flower when I visited in early June 2018.
